My sister and her long-time boyfriend got engaged a few weeks ago. As happy as I was for my sister to get tied down to the love of her life, I was even more happy that she selected me to be a bridesmaid! They are looking to be married at the end of July next summer at the chapel at Bucknell University, where they both met. 'Ray Bucknell!....and currently, they are planning to host the reception at a winery right around the corner from the school...
With event planning being something I truly enjoy doing, I jumped at the chance to be a part of the wedding planning process and emailed my older sister to ask her if I could be her unofficial wedding planner and ....she said YES! Now I can only dream of charming wedding invitations...
...delicate floral arrangements...
...and of course, bridesmaid dresses! (I love the trend of different style dresses with one color scheme).
We will be talking more at the beach this weekend when I spend time with her and her fiance! Can't wait to update you all! Happy weekend!
